Prayer About The Truth Concerning Sin

Most Precious Lord Jesus…
Gentle And Wonderful God…
Truly Awesome And Ever-present Holy Spirit…
Put in me your torment over the sin of my life.
Put in me your frustration over what sin has done to me.
Put in me the burning desire to be free of the slavery sin has put upon me.
Put in me the truth about what my life can be like when I am free of sin's bondage.
Put in me the vision to see what sin does to me and what sin does to others.
Put in me the power to see past the outer attractive layers of sin and see the actual results of devastation and destruction sin always brings.
Put in me the vision to see how sin is designed by Satan to destroy, corrupt, and kill my heart, mind, body, and soul.
May I never be so overwhelmed by my sin problem I cannot see the solution.
May I never be so blind to not see you hanging on the cross to save me from this terrible plague sin has put upon me.
All these things we humbly pray in the name of our most Blessed Lord Jesus Christ, our Mighty God, and our Ever-present Holy Spirit upon whom we can rely.
