A Prayer For A Time When God Does Not Answer

Most Precious Lord Jesus, Gentle And Wonderful God, Truly Awesome And Ever-present Holy Spirit, Precious Lord Jesus, I love you.
I have been praying, and praying, and praying for your answer.
I have been waiting, and waiting, and waiting for your answer.
But no answer has come.
OK, I know it is me.
I know you probably have answered me already and I'm not listening.
After all, it is easier for me to whine and complain than for me to open my heart to hear what you want me to hear.
I know you are answering.
So help me be strong. Help me have courage.
Help me push aside my selfishness and open my heart to you.
I am sorry I am so selfish.
Please forgive me.
Even if you choose not to answer me, I shall always try to do your will.
I shall always love others.
I shall always forgive others.
I shall always let others see you in me.
All these things I humbly pray in the name of my most Blessed Lord Jesus Christ, my Mighty God, and my Ever-present Holy Spirit upon whom I can rely. Amen
