A Prayer For Wisdom When God Says "No" For Our Benefit

Most Precious Lord Jesus, Gentle And Wonderful God, Truly Awesome And Ever-present Holy Spirit,
I love you, Lord Jesus.
Precious Lord, I know I am a child.
I know I am your child and sometimes I know I act in childish ways.
You are my Father in Heaven who knows what is right, and good, and what is best for me.
When you turn me away from what I want or you tell me I cannot have what I want, help me to remember I am but a child and you are my loving Father.
When difficult times come in my life and I want to act or I want to think in childish ways, help me see your answers are for my good.
Help me see the benefit of receiving answers from you, even when I do not like the answers I receive.
Help me grow up in Christian love and become all you want for me.
Help me become more mature in you and in your love.
I love you, Lord Jesus.
I will, within my power, do all I can to be who you want me to be.
I will, within my power, be your child as much as I am able.
Teach me your ways and show me your wisdom by telling me I cannot have my own way.
Teach me your ways and show me I can live in happiness and joy, no matter whether I receive what I pray for or not.
If it is your will, show me the wisdom and joy of your ways rather than the folly and pain of my ways.
Help me rest in your peace, in your tenderness, and in your care.
All these things I humbly pray in the name of my most Blessed Lord Jesus Christ, my Mighty God, and my Ever-present Holy Spirit upon whom I can rely.
